Aalten is located in the Achterhoek, in the middle of nature in a beautiful landscape, close to the German border. The green wooded surroundings are an ideal place for cycling or walking. The surroundings offer a combination of pastures, old farms, forests and meandering streams. Those who fancy a cup of tea, a drink and a snack can visit one of the many tea gardens.
