To the south east of … Cuxhaven, between the ""Balksee lake nature reserve"" and the attractive hills of Wingst lies the KNAUS campsite in a wind-protected location. Farms with thatched roofs, wide expanses of marshland and a large forest area make up the special charm of ""Cuxland"". A horse ride to the North Sea island of Neuwerk or a walk through the mud flats promise special holiday experiences. Exciting riding trips, long bike routes and the unique waterskiing facilities do the rest. The ""Church on the road"" program provides relaxation as well as trips to Stade, the ""Emigrant museum"" in Bremerhaven or a day trip to Helgoland. A trip to the ""Moor baths"" in Bad Bederkese or a journey on the transporter bridge across the Oste river are also worthwhile. You can feel good in Wingst. Your pets are also welcome to come along!
