Stay right on the lake You can both swim in the beautiful lake and go kayaking. There are also plenty of walking and cycling routes in the area. The site has agreements with a large number of local players, so … you can join in on cycling, surfing and running trips. Holstebro within walking distance Holstebro center is only two kilometers away via a cozy path. Here you can shop and enjoy a little eating at one of the good cafes or restaurants. On the pedestrian street in Holstebro you can experience the famous Swiss artist Alberto Giacometti's statue 'Maren å æ woun', who spends the night underground because she is valued at a billion kroner, and people are - perhaps rightly - afraid that she will be stolen. Take a walk to the beach The North Sea is only a half hour drive away. Here you can take a dip and enjoy the coast by the unusually hilly, green area around Fjaltring and Ferring, where the distinctive, red Bovbjerg Lighthouse towers. Playground, ice cream and good coffee On the square you can buy delicious ice cream, enjoy a cup of freshly roasted coffee with homemade cake and other delicacies in the cozy café. In the summer, there are fun activities for the children, and the playground with the large bouncy castle is the natural gathering point for the children.
